WHERE SHOULD I TAKE MY SHELL?
After having an oyster roast please recycle your shell at a recycling center near you. There are currently publicly accessible shell centers on Jekyll and Tybee Islands and we are looking for an additional location on St. Simons Island. Please remember to separate the trash from the shell, our centers do not have facilities to receive trash items. If you notice any unsightly garbage or misuse of any kind at one of our centers please report this as soon as possible (Savannah 912 598 2348, Brunswick 912 264 7323). If you cannot arrange to drop the shell off at one of these location please contact our offices in Savannah and Brunswick and we will try to arrange a pick up.

• Take the GA-25-SPUR / N GOLDEN ISLES PARKWAY exit- EXIT 38- toward US-17 / BRUNSWICK. 0.3 miles • Turn LEFT onto GOLDEN ISLES VETERAN MEMORIAL PKWY / GA-25 SPUR S / N GOLDEN ISLES PKWY. 4.6 miles • Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto US-17 S / GA-25 S / OCEAN HWY 3.4 miles • Turn RIGHT onto 1 CONSERVATION WAY at GA DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES • The Shell Recycling Center will be on your right just after the bridge.

Traveling I-95 North
• Merge onto US-17 N / GA-25 N via EXIT 29 toward JEKYLL ISLAND / SAINT SIMONS / SEA ISLAND / BRUNSWICK. 7.9 miles • Turn LEFT onto 1 CONSERVATION WAY at GA DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES • The Shell Recycling Center will be on your right just after the bridge.
